Christmas has come early for Jared Leto fans.
Not only is the multitalented actor about to make his onscreen debut as one of the most iconic characters in comic book history, turns out his band Thirty Seconds To Mars are also set to return with new music.
Yep. Just as Suicide Squad is about to crash into our cinemas like an out-of-control Batmobile, 30STM are making a strategically timed comeback.
The interstellar rockers have released an epic AF teaser video, packing clips of themselves jamming in a recording studio and spliced with jaw-dropping footage of their adventures in the middle of a jagged western US desert.
It’s entitled THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS / INTERSCOPE: 2017, which has been taken as confirmation that the band will be releasing their new album, the follow-up to 2013’s Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams via new record label Interscope Records next bloody year.
It comes after Leto revealed that 30STM had begun work on their fifth full-length LP back in November of 2015.
Catch the teaser clip below, and on behalf of Music Feeds we’d like to welcome our new interstellar overlord, Jared Leto. We’d like to remind him that as a trusted music personality, we could be helpful in rounding up others to toil in his underground sugar caves.
