Those Cryptic Posters About The 1975 Are Now Popping Up In Sydney

Something’s happening. We don’t know what, but it’s happening. Those cryptic posters about The 1975 that have been seen across the UK have now touched down under, specifically on Oxford Street in Sydney.

While one poster looks to be the same as the ones spotted in the UK, the ‘Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ poster, showing religious imagery behind a bunch of kids on their phones, seems to be fresh.

Of course, last year frontman Matt Healy tweeted ‘1st June – The 1975’ which has led many to believe that’s when we can expect new music from the wildly popular band. The date is fast approaching, with no new music as of yet, so it would seen that Friday, 1st June is a safe bet.

The 1975’s wildly acclaimed last album, I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, was released in 2016 so they’re certainly due for fresh tunes. They were last in the country in 2016 for Splendour In The Grass.
