UPDATE (29/01/20): Author & Punisher have been announced as the support act for Tool’s Australian tour.
Tool have announced they will be adding a new show to the Australian leg of their hotly anticipated 2020 Australian tour after, not surprisingly, presale tickets rushed out of the door just minutes after going on sale this afternoon.
Tool will play a second Melbourne concert at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday 23 February. A second Auckland show was already added earlier today for Saturday 29 February at Spark Arena.
Earlier this month, the band announced will return to Australia after seven years away to play arena shows in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next February in support of fifth studio album Fear Inoculum, released back in August and debuting at #1 on the Australian charts.
The new Melbourne show will be available in the Frontier Members pre-sale at 3.30pm AEDT today (Wednesday, 20th November) via Frontier Touring.
UPDATE 21/11/19: A second Sydney show has been added to Tool’s 2020 Australian tour. Tool will perform a second Sydney concert at Qudos Bank Arena on Tuesday, 18th February.
Tickets to the new Sydney date and all other shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday 22 November at 2pm (local time). Details below.
Check out tour dates below. General public tickets for new and previously announced show go on sale next Friday, 22nd November.
