Travis Scott is keeping his hugely busy 2020 going forward, with the announcement that he’s dropping a new single on Friday, titled ‘Franchise’.
He announced the single with a tweet sharing that the song is out this Friday, as well as a link to his store where fans can pre-order the single on a variety of formats.
In addition, he shared the single’s stunning artwork, which was done by George Condo. This isn’t Condo’s first foray into providing artwork for rappers, being the one responsible for the stunning imagery around Kanye West’s seminal 2010 album My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy.
This will be Scott’s first single since he appeared on Big Sean’s latest album, Detroit 2. Scott has been involved in a number of collaborations throughout the year. He linked up with Rosalía on ‘TKN’, with Kanye West on ‘Wash Us In The Blood’, and with Kid Cudi on ‘The Scotts’.
He also provided the lead single to the soundtrack of Christopher Nolan’s latest film Tenet, with ‘The Plan’.
