2012 Triple J Hottest 100 So Far – 25 Down

We are now through the first quarter of triple j’s Hottest 100, and it’s sure as hell made for some good listening. Heard something you dug but missed the name? Well chill, we have a full recap for you here.

Everything Everything kicked off the list with Couch Couch, and the first 10 was a pretty eclectic range. Kanye West, Hov and Big Sean made the cut with Clique, and Gaslight Anthem’s huge single 45 came in at #94, with Two Door Cinema Club at a pretty safe #90.

Stacks of native talent were featured in the lower quartile – but still featured nonetheless. Many of these are hip-hop artists, including Illy, Hilltop Hoods, Chance Waters, and All Day + C1, with Lisa Mitchell and Kimbra also in the fold.
