Tyler The Creator Calls Fans “Embarrassing” After Drake Is Booed Off Stage At Camp Flog Gnaw

Last night, Drake was booed off stage at Tyler, The Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw as he turned up to play his surprise headlining set. Now, Tyler himself has hopped on to Twitter to condemn the audience’s behaviour.

In a long, all capitalised rant, Tyler said that he thought “bringing one of the biggest artists (sic) on the fucking planet to a music festival was fire.”

“Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like assholes when it didn’t come true and I don’t fuck with that,” he said.

He then said that it was just a minority who caused the scene, saying “mostly everyone was having a great time.”

“Those shits in the front area were the ones being mad rude…y’all represented me and flog to my guest and made us look sooo entitled and trash.”

“That shit was like mob mentality and cancel culture in real life and I think that shit is fucking trash.”

He also changed his Twitter bio to “embarrassed by fans right now.”

Check out his full statement below, and let’s hope things run a little smoother for him when he’s in Australia next month for his first tour since 2016.
