Earlier this week, new Victorian concert series Sounds Better Together announced a slew of shows from the likes of Tones and I, Jimmy Barnes and the Teskey Brothers would be kicking off this weekend across the state.
Now, organisers have revealed a second round of metro and regional Victorian dates, with a lineup that includes Alex Lahey, The Living End and more.
Next Monday (25th January), Lahey will perform at the Gershwin Room at the Espy in St Kilda, supported by singer-songwriter Scott Darlow – fresh from releasing powerful new single ‘Forgotten Australia’.
Wednesday, 27th January will see Ross Wilson headline Theatre Royal in Castlemaine, with Fergus James on opening duties. The same evening over at Melbourne’s Forum, you can catch The Living End alongside Bakers Eddy. Later in the week are shows by the likes of Didirri and the Pierce Brothers.
“To say we are delighted at having an actual real life Victorian show booked is an understatement,” commented the Living End. “This is going to be a very special gig for many reasons and we’re thankful to the ‘2021 Sounds Better Together’ folks who made this happen. See you at the gig next week and it will get loud!”
