At the second weekend of Coachella 2022, Billie Eilish brought out Hayley Williams to perform an acoustic rendition of Paramore‘s 2007 Riot! hit ‘Misery Business’. It marked the first time Williams had performed the song since the last Paramore show in 2018, when she said the band would essentially be retiring it from their live sets.
“Hi. Wow. My first Coachella,” Williams said when she appeared onstage. “Thanks for sharing this with me,” she told Eilish. “This is sick.”
To close out the the set, Williams also joined Eilish for a charged performance of the title track from Eilish’s 2021 album Happier Than Ever. You can watch both of those moments below.
During Coachella’s first weekend, Eilish brought out some other special guests. The singer was joined by Damon Albarn of Gorillaz along with De La Soul‘s Posdnuos for a cover of ‘Feel Good Inc.’, while Khalid also appeared with Eilish to perform their 2018 collaboration ‘Lovely’.
Apart from ‘Misery Business’, the rest of Eilish’s set was largely identical to her weekend one performance, drawing heavily from Happier Than Ever and debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? tracks, along with early cuts like ‘Ocean Eyes’ and ‘Bellyache’.
