Watch: Birds Of Tokyo Cover Jarryd James’ ‘Do You Remember’

No, it’s not Friday morning, and no, a certain youth radio station didn’t just finish their weekly cover segment, but nonetheless we’ve got a slick little Aussie-on-Aussie cover to share with you, this time from another single-letter-based media outlet.

Birds of Tokyo have just finished up a run around the country flaunting their new Anchor EP, and sometime after visiting us for a chat the other day, also headed over to the Channel [V] studios to record this cover of ‘Do You Remember’ originally by sultry newcomer Jarryd James. You media SLUTS! (jk, we still love you.)

With just an acoustic guitar and keyboard the lads stick fairly close to the vibe of the original, albeit with Ian Kenny’s distinctive, emotive vocals bringing a very Birds of Tokyo layer on top of it all.

Check out the rendition here and have a geez at our interview with Kenny and Adam, talking about dealing with haters who dislike their ever-changing “sound”, below.
