Birds Of Tokyo have swooped in with a surprise cover of The Weeknd’s funky cocaine love song, I Can’t Feel My Face.
Three members of the flock teamed up with the folks at iHeartRadio to cover the Canadian funkster’s smash hit single, during their current promo lap of the US in honour of their new compilation album, Playlist…A Singles Collection.
The Aussie pop-rockers’ chill rendish comes just a few weeks after Bad//Dreems and The Preatures frontwoman Isabella Manfredi dropped their own raucous cover of the single for triple j’s Like A Version.
Meanwhile, Birds Of Tokyo have also just been announced on the bill for Australia’s annual Twilight concert series at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo and Melbourne Zoo.
