Watch Brandon Flowers Perform An Acoustic Version Of ‘When You Were Young’

The Killers‘ frontman Brandon Flowers has stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers, and while he was there gave a beautiful, acoustic performance of the band’s hit ‘When You Were Young.’

Flowers was there in support of the band’s recent release of a career-spanning, seven album vinyl box-set.

He also spoke to Meyers about the band’s early days, and how they found each other through an ad in a newspaper.

“At the end of each ad, they’d put ‘what influences you had’,” he said. “I would just look at the band names…there was a lot of nu-metal and a lot of stuff I wasn’t really affiliated with, or at least I didn’t affiliate myself with. And then I saw ‘The Beatles’ and I saw ‘Smashing Pumpkins’ and ‘Oasis’ and thought that was close enough for me. That’s how I met our guitar player.”

The Killers, of course, wrapped up an Australian tour earlier this year and sported an impressive setlist.
