Watch Dave Grohl Shut Down A Fan Who Rushed The Stage At Foo Fighters’ Perth Gig

Footage has emerged of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl expertly shutting down a fan who rushed the stage during the band’s Perth show on the weekend.

Crowd-shot video from Fooies’ Saturday night show at nib Stadium shows a young man running up the catwalk in front of the band’s stage during their performance of ‘Everlong’, after somehow bypassing security.

After reaching Dave Grohl unperturbed, Foo Fighters abruptly stop performing and two members of the band’s backstage crew rush onto the stage. The fan gives Grohl a hug, and the frontman asks him his name — it’s Jevon, “with a J” — before telling him, “Get the fuck off my stage!”

Foo Fighters then picked up ‘Everlong’ where they left off, with Grohl dedicating the song to ‘Jevon with a J’. Watch footage of the incident, below.

Music Feeds contributor Shane Pinnegar called Foo Fighters’ Perth gig “a magnificent show”, which left the crowd with “a lot of laughs, and hoarse throats from singing along to their favourites all night long”. Check out the night’s full setlist right here, and photos from the gig down below.

Foo Fighters’ 2018 Australian tour continues in Adelaide on Tuesday night, before hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
