Watch Foo Fighters & AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Perform ‘Back In Black’ Together

In an absolute meeting of the gods, Foo Fighters enlisted AC/DC‘s Brian Johnson to help them cover the legendary Aussie band’s track, ‘Back In Black’.

Dave Grohl and co. took to the stage as part of Global Citizen’s Vax Live event, which is set to stream globally later this week. Eddie Vedder, J. Balvin, H.E.R. and Jennifer Lopez also played the event.

Taking place at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, the band played to 27,000 people – most of whom work on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis. The stadium usually holds a capacity of 70,000.

Foo Fighters performed a six song set, opening with ‘All My Life’, closing with ‘Best of You’ and including their other hits ‘Everlong’, ‘Times Like These’ and ‘Hero’.

But, for their third song, they brought Johnson on stage for an absolutely sweltering rendition of AC/DC’s seminal song.

Now, official footage won’t be shared until the livestream, but an attendee at the event managed to capture a clip of the performance before uploading it to YouTube. It’s truly glorious.

Watch the clip below.
