Watch: HAIM Make Basic Survival Look Cool In New Clip ‘Falling’

Surviving in the wilderness has never looked quite as good as it does in the latest video offering from Californian sister act Haim. The nu-folk trio get back to basics in the clip for their new single Falling, lifted from their 2012 EP Forever.

Having burst out onto the scene only just last year, Haim needn’t do much more to impress us, but here they are catching fish with their bare hands. Far too cool to just rip off Man Vs Wild, the sisters Haim bring plenty of their own 80s sensibilities into the mix, resulting in a swirling, dream-like clip set in some far-off jungle (the LA hills) where everyone is far more trendy and attractive than you are. But don’t let their youthfulness fool you – falling comes with fangs, and a plethora of layers.

The single will be getting a bit of a once-over – a limited-edition 10″ vinyl will be available from from Monday, 1st April. The track is available on iTunes right now.

I think I’m in love…but that’s neither here nor there. God, I want one of those jackets.
