Hayley Williams has had a hugely prolific year with the release of her debut solo album, and she’s ready to cap it off with a stirring and understated cover of Massive Attack‘s ‘Teardrop’.
Williams performed the cover as part of The Ally Coalition’s 7th Annual Talent Show, which also saw performances from the likes of Lana Del Rey, St. Vincent, Clairo, Sleater-Kinney, Brittany Howard and more.
The talent show was live-streamed via Jack Antonoff‘s Twitch channel, and was held as a way to raise money for homeless LGBTQ+ youth in America.
Williams performed the cover donned in a dressing gown and with her hair wrapped in the towel, giving us fresh out the shower realness as she offered her take on the classic 1998 track.
Hayley Williams dropped her debut solo album Petals For Armor in May.
