Watch Horrorshow Cover The Whitlams’ ‘No Aphrodisiac’ For ‘Like A Version’

Sydney hip hop duo Horrorshow have returned to triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment to drop a pretty smooth cover of The Whitlams‘ classic track ‘No Aphrodisiac’.

Performing their take on the 1997 Hottest 100 number one, Horrorshow doused the song in some serious lounge vibes, and sprinkled it with some contemporary new lyrics of their own. While in the triple j studios, they also performed their original track Eat The Cake.

Horrorshow previously took over Like A Version back in 2013, when they dropped a mashup of A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘Can I Kick It?’ and Lou Reed’s ‘Walk On The Wildside’. The group are now preparing to head out on a massive national tour throughout June and July, in support of their fourth album Bardo State.
