Sydney’s Jonathan Boulet has released the video for first single This Song is Called Ragged, taken from his forthcoming album We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart, which is due out on 8th June.
The video was shot in Australia, and directed by first-time music video director Peanut. The song has been decribed as “a swirling, percussive uprising of the most positive kind”, a good taster for what to expect on the new album, which promises to be a dense, cathartic record of unbridled energy and heavy pop.
Boulet will be performing shows with UK acts Tom Vek and Kindness, starting with a show at the Hi-Fi in Melbourne tonight and then Sydney on Saturday for the Vivid LIVE parties.
