Watch The Last Shadow Puppets Bury Themselves In The ‘Aviation’ Video

The Last Shadow Puppets have dropped another bizarre video, this time for Aviation the third track from their forthcoming LP Everything You’ve Come To Expect.

The Aviation video sees Alex Turner and Miles Kane dig their own hole on a beach with people including a distressed woman in a wedding dress, looking on. It’s designed to be watched in conjunction with the video for the album’s title track which was released last week.

That video features the troublesome pair buried under sand with just their heads poking out. It’s unknown which one is meant to come before the other but one would assume if they’re buried in the Everything You’ve Come To Expect video then the Aviation video where they are burying themselves is the prequel.

Saam Farahmand directed the two clips, the director behind clips by the xx, Klaxons and Janet Jackson.

As for the new track Aviation, it’s a haunting, dark affair laden with Alex Turner’s signature drawl.

Everything You’ve Come To Expect is due to drop on 1st April and is the duo’s first since 2008’s The Age Of The Understatement.
