Watch Paramore Cover Radiohead’s ‘House Of Cards’ With OG Drummer Zac Farro

It’s been seven years since Paramore last performed live with their OG drummer Zac Farro, which makes this gig that just went down at a random Chinese restaurant in Nashville all the more special.

Current band members Hayley Williams and Taylor York were both in the house at the official launch party for Farro’s new Halfnoise EP, which just-so-happens to feature a cute little duet between the new frontman and his old front-woman.

And fans’ jaws undoubtedly dropped when the Paramore pair got up to join Farro for a few of his original tunes, plus a rendition of Radiohead’s In Rainbows cut  ‘House Of Cards’.

Pop-punk kween Williams then took to Twitter to post about the experience, writing: “Played on a stage w/ my best @zacfarro. 1st time in like half a decade tonight… in a Chinese restaurant. lost my mind”.

ICYMI: Farro reunited with Paramore to record their forthcoming fifth studio LP after his 2010 exit, but he’s also confirmed that he hasn’t actually officially rejoined the band for reals.

“They’ve asked me to play drums on their album, on their new album,” he told Idobi in an interview. “So [Hayley Williams] put it on their Instagram and put it on their website, and it’s no joke that I’m back just playing drums for them on their album alongside with doing my HalfNoise stuff. That’s it, and that’s literally all it is right now.”

Farro also has a few songwriting credits on a list of 12 new Paramore song titles which recently appeared online, lodged on ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) ACE Repertory’s website.

The leak prompted fans to expect new Paramore material to drop imminently.

While you wait, get your ears on their live Radiohead collab (featuring Farro on guitar and vocals, not drums) and Halfnoise jams below.
