Watch Post Malone And Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold Perform Their New Collaboration On ‘SNL’

One of the more interesting features set to appear on Post Malone‘s forthcoming album Twelve Carat Toothache is Robin Pecknold, frontman for indie-folk stalwarts Fleet Foxes.

Over the weekend, during his appearance on Saturday Night Live, Post was joined by Pecknold, a chorus of backing vocalists and two percussionists playing taiko drums to debut the collaboration, which is titled ‘Love/Hate Letter to Alcohol’. Earlier in the evening, Posty also performed latest single ‘Cooped Up’, joined by the studio version’s featured guest Roddy Ricch.

Twelve Carat Toothache, the follow-up to 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, is set to arrive on Friday, 3rd June. It’s been previewed with two singles so far – ‘Cooped Up’ earlier this month and The Weeknd collaboration ‘One Right Now’ last year. Other guests set to feature on the album include The Kid LAROI, Doja Cat and Trippie Redd.

Post recently discussed what to expect on the album in an interview with Billboard, with the rapper explaining that the songs on Twelve Carat Toothache “speak more to how I’m feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.”
