Sia has unveiled a new music video for her single Cheap Thrills, but there ain’t nothing cheap about it.
Actually, that’s a lie. The clip does look like it could have been shot on a shoestring budget, but its minimalism is pure class.
The Aussie pop songstress has once again teamed up with her ridiculously talented mini-me Maddie Ziegler for the new vid, after their previously incredible collabs on her Chandelier, Elastic Heart and Big Girls Cry videos.
Also like those three clips, Cheap Thrills was directed by Aussie filmmaker Daniel Askill (with a little help from Sia herself) and the latest chapter of the trio’s creative kinship sees the pint-sized dance phenom Zeigler delivering quirky choreographed dance moves in front of a smokey purple backdrop.
As per Sia tradition, the paperbag popstar herself (and her mega bowtie) are barely within view of the camera.
