Sid Wilson and Kelly Osbourne are officially tying the, uh, Slip-knot (sorry, had to).
In possibly the most metal marriage proposal ever, the Slipknot turntablist popped the question to Kelly backstage at her dad Ozzy Osbourne‘s final ever show with Black Sabbath, in the metal icons’ hometown of Birmingham, England — and right in front of the Prince of Darkness himself.
“F*** off! You’re not marrying my daughter!”
The proposal went down during Back to Beginning, the historic July 5th concert that saw Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath wrap up their almost six-decade career. But before the final tritone rang out, Sid had one more heavy moment planned.
“Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world,” Sid began, standing in front of Kelly’s fam — Ozzy, Sharon, and Jack — only to be met with a very on-brand heckle from Ozzy: “F*** off! You’re not marrying my daughter!”
Unfazed (despite Ozzy’s infamous legacy of biting off certain heads, Sid laughed it off, dropped to one knee faster than a Slipknot maggot pit during ‘Spit It Out’, and finished what he started:
“Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you… will you marry me?”
Kelly said yes, and the room erupted in applause. You can watch the touching moment up above.
The pair, who welcomed their first son Sidney in 2022, have been publicly loved-up since going Insta-official in early 2022.
No word yet on whether Ozzy will be walking Kelly down the aisle, but it seems pretty clear that heavy metal is about to cop a new royal family.
