Snoop Lion has teamed up with Drake and his own daughter Cori B for what is sure to be one of many politically charged jams from the recently reincarnated rapper.
No Guns Allowed would be (as they say in The Simpsons) a superliminal demonstration against the current gun culture in the States. Intertwined with footage from incidents of mass death and horror, the clip, directed by Jessy Terrero, is some real shit. At times cheesy, it’s all brought together by Drake who adds a much-needed touch of “toughness” to the jam, balancing it out masterfully.
We’ve been waiting anxiously for the track to make its way off Soundcloud, so today is MF Christmas. No Guns Allowed will feature on Snoop’s Reincarnated album, which is expected locally Friday, 26rd April.
