We’ve seen plenty of covers and interpretations of Drake‘s chart-busting hit Hotline Bling since its release, ranging from the enjoyably earnest (Art Of Sleeping, Sam Smith and Disclosure) to the ridiculously amazing (Mr. G) to the downright terrible (Mike Tyson).
But this one probably takes the cake for the most dedicated. Sufjan Stevens has been joined by Gallant for a special cover of Hotline Bling during a Halloween concert in Jersey City.
The pair obviously spent a great deal of time studying Drake’s iconic Hotline Bling dance moves for the rendition, because they mimicked the rapper perfectly, while beaming a giant image of his face on the stage background.
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right?
