Watch The Trailer For The New Gorillaz Documentary Coming To Australian Cinemas Next Month

Next month, for one night only, a new Gorillaz documentary will be coming to a ton of movie theatres around Australia. Titled Reject False Icons, the film will be screening in select cinemas around the country on Monday, 16th December.

Reject False Icons is directed by Denholm Hewlett, the son of founding Gorillaz member Jamie Hewlett, and captures the last few years of the band’s existence. In particular, it follows the making of their last two albums – 2017’s Humanz and 2018’s The Now Now – along with the band’s resultant world tour.

“The result is the first ever all-access immersive journey into the world of Gorillaz and its extended family – featuring never-seen footage, where the virtual meets the real,” reads a statement about the film.
