Watch Tommy Lee’s “Crüecifly” Drum Coaster Get Stuck Upside Down At Mötley Crüe’s Last-Ever Show

In a moment of unplanned chaos (or possibly a well-executed publicity stunt), Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has managed to get stuck upside down on his huge “Crüecifly” drum roller coaster at the band’s last-ever show.

Footage of Lee’s mishap (below) sees the sticksman moving smoothly through LA’s Staples Center atop the Crüecifly on New Year’s Eve, before it suddenly stops moving.

“I guess we broke it. Fuckin’ hell. Alright, well fuck the roller coaster,” Lee is heard saying in the clip, before asking the crowd to show him some male or female “titties” while he’s up in the air.

“I can’t believe this shit is happening on the fucking last night,” Lee says, before his scrambling stage crew level out his drum set and he climbs down to the ground below. The whole escape takes almost 10 minutes, and can be seen from 3:35 in the video below.

Earlier this week, Mötley Crüe announced plans to release footage of their last-ever concert as a full-length concert film and documentary in 2016. It’s not yet clear if Lee’s upside down Crüecifly incident will be included or edited out, but how can you have Mötley Crüe without the Mötley Crüe antics?

The band’s New Year’s Eve show was the last of their 34-year career, and closed out The Final Tour, which saw the group perform over 160 shows across Australia, Asia, Europe, South America and North America since July 2014.
