Aussie punks Trophy Eyes have covered a classic track by The Police for their debut appearance on triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.
The band turned their hands to a version of the 1983 Police hit ‘Every Breath You Take’, staying pretty true to the original with its chugging guitar lines and those classic backing vocals.
While in the triple j studios, Trophy Eyes also performed their original track ‘Breathe You In’ (which, oddly enough, is also about breathing), taken from their latest album Chemical Miracle.
Trophy Eyes are currently touring the country, with shows still to play in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
