We’re Getting A New Spicks & Specks Special Next Month

The fourth and final instalment of the Spicks & Specks specials is on its way. Arriving next month, we’ll get to join the S&S crew as they’re quizzed on all things 2010s.

Since last year, we’ve received three specials, which have been making the lives of Spicks & Specks obsessives — no matter how fleeting.

Now, we’re getting the fourth next month. It’s set to air at 7:40pm on Sunday, 20th December on ABC.

As always, Adam Hills will host the program while Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough captain their teams.

Which guests will be joining their teams? Aussie musicians, Kate Miller Heidke and Vance Joy alongside comedians Claire Hooper and Luke McGregor.

The episode is the fourth in the series, that saw us receive an Ausmusic special, a 90s special, and a 2000s special. So, in chronological fashion, we’ll get our hands on the 2010 special next month.

TheMusic spoke with host Adam Hills back in April.

“There was talk of doing a series of ten at some point this year, but then I had to juggle that around The Last Leg and the Paralympics,” he told The Green Room with Neil Griffiths.

“And now, the Paralympics have been cancelled as well, or postponed, so there’s definitely a possibility [of more Spicks & Specks episodes].”

“It also, again, comes down to whether or not you can still have people on a panel and people in the audience. If we ever go back to those days… Alan, Myf and I all want it to happen.

“It’s just a matter of logistically pulling it together. But yeah, I think there could be some more.”

Huge.
