Willow Smith Has Teamed Up With “Extremely Beautiful” Michael Cera For A New Track

Willow Smith, the girl with more wisdom than anybody else aged 15, has recruited actor and apparently now producer Michael Cera for her new song twentyfortyeight 2.0.

The ambient, hypnotic track features Willow vocalising her stream of consciousness as she ponders a number of ideas far too complex for us mere mortals. Also, it seems Cera not only acts as producer, but also as muse, if her recent social media posts are anything to go by.

“We’ve manufactured a society that runs on the backs of those we choose to victimize,” she sings over a lullaby-ready instrumental provided by Cera.

Surprisingly Cera, who has acted in things like Juno and Superbad, has been working on his title of ‘musician’ for a little while now. He contributed backing vocals to Weezer’s 2010 song Hang On and released a full length debut True That in 2014.

As for Willow, she’s been dropping tunes on her Soundcloud at a consistent pace lately.

“I just want to make music so that I can raise the conciousness level on this planet,” she writes about her music on her Soundcloud page.

We probably shouldn’t expect another Whip My Hair anytime soon then?
