Fresh from slaying main-stage appearances at both Download Festival UK and Glastonbury Festival, the world’s best – and only – Elvis-themed Nirvana tribute act, known collectively as ‘ELVANA’, have today announced their first ever Australian tour.
Straight Outta Disgraceland, the worlds of hip-swivelling 50’s rock n’ roll and 90’s grunge are set to collide on Aussie stages in 2020, with “Elvis” & co bringing their set of reimagined Nirvana classics to stages in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney next May.
“Ladies and gentleman of Australiashire! You are about to witness something you’ve never ever seen before… In a good way!” proclaims Elvana frontman, “Elvis”.
“We couldn’t be any more excited to bring our lil ol’ show down under and boy are we gonna have one hell of a time!? Come as you are, mate.”
FYI, Elvana began as a joke between four dudes from North-East England, who formed an Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute act for a fancy dress party, which then rapidly snowballed into a completely unique live experience that’s since taken the world by storm.
