Exploding out of the West Coast in 1996 with his acclaimed debut album, At the Speed of Life, Xzibit made it known that he was one of the most ruthless and hard-working hip-hop minds in the game. The man behind club classics like Front 2 Back and Multiply will return to Australian shores this April.
A frequent visitor Down Under, X to the Z last shook rooms in 2011. He’s familiar to most through his film appearances and highly successful MTV reality show Pimp My Ride, but in the world of hip-hop, he’s known as a relentless performer and entertainer, embodying both emcee and hype-man.
In addition to his unrivalled stage and mic skills, he’ll be touring with seven albums worth of acclaimed material ready to load and fire, from his own hits like X and My Name (a collaboration with Eminem and the late Nate Dogg), to verses on now classic albums by Dr Dre and others.
This April, Xzibit will be hitting up Canberra, Melbourne, Broome, Adelaide, Coffs Harbour, and Brisbane for a string of shows crowds aren’t likely to forget too soon. The whole thing kicks off Saturday, April 12th at Canberra’s Meche nightclub. Readers can check below for all details.
