Sydney-based indie record label Yes Please is celebrating its second birthday and inviting you to get in on the lovin’ with some birthday party action in Melbourne tonight, Thursday, 18th July, featuring a shiny line-up of some of the label’s favourite artists.
The proceedings kick off at 7:30pm at the Workers Club in Fitzroy, with some live musical action from I’lls, who’ve just dropped their second EP A Warm Reception. They’ll be joined by Sydney beatmakers Fishing, Melburnian multi-instrumentalist Wintercoats, as well as Guerre and The Townhouses. They’ll be joined on the decks by DJs Oscar Key Sung, Andras Fox, Simon Winkler, Tim Shiel and Adam Christou.
Last weeks event at Sydney’s Goodgod was a sell-out success, so you’ll want to make sure you get in good and early. That event featured live performances from Cosmo’s Midnight, launching their EP Surge, as well as I’lls, Fishing and Guerre.
Tickets are $15 and will be available on the door, but you can pick yourself up tickets right now right here. Join the official event profile then get yourself down to the Worker’s Club tonight for some truly excellent birthday action.
