Rapper Young Thug has reportedly been arrested in the US on gang activity and racketeering charges.
As Consequence Of Sound reports, the hip-hop identity was taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in the 2015 murder of a rival gang leader.
An indictment filed against Young Thug and 27 of his associates alleges the rapper’s label, Young Slime Life, is also a front for criminal activities, including murder and armed robbery.
As the co-founder of YSL, Thug is personally accused of renting the car that was used in the 2015 murder of rival gang member, Donovan Thomas, Jr.
Prosecutors also allege members of YSL sought Thug’s permission to arrange a hit against rapper YSN Lucci, while he was behind bars in Atlanta’s Fulton County.
