Adele Got Attacked By Mosquitoes In Brisbane, Because ‘Straya

Written by Tom Williams on March 7, 2017

Adele has fallen victim to Australia’s brutal wildlife, after being attacked by mosquitoes on stage at the second of two Brisbane shows on her debut Australian tour.

The 28-year-old singer let the crowd know about the mosquitoes during the show, and the whole thing was captured on video for our enjoyment.

“I’m sorry, I’m not Australian, I don’t like bugs,” Adele told the crowd at The Gabba, before running to the other side of the stage.

“It was sucking my blood, it was sucking my blood! They’re everywhere… they’re all trying to kill me!”

Catch footage of the very ‘Oh, Adele…’ moment, below.

Adele has already had to deal with cockroaches and mosquitoes on her current Australian tour, and there are still a bunch of shows to go in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Despite all the bugs, the English singer also managed to use the first of her two Brisbane shows to confirm that she is now married to her longtime partner Simon Konecki.

Here’s the full setlist and review of Adele’s first Aussie stop in Perth, to get a gist of what to expect at her upcoming shows.
