UPDATE: Alison Wonderland has revealed a scarily good lineup of artists for the 2017 ‘Wonderland Scarehouse Project’ tour.
ORIGINAL STORY: Aussie producer and DJ Alison Wonderland (real name Alex Sholler) has announced the latest iteration of her warehouse party tour, dubbed the ‘Wonderland Scarehouse Project’.
Returning home later this year with her highly-anticipated second album, Alison Wonderland will take her new ‘Scarehouse Project’ to secret farmland locations in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland between November and December, and they can only be accessed by “a dedicated compulsory phantom bus service”. The full lineup for each show is still to be announced, but they’re already sounding frighteningly good.
“Forget noise complaints,” say organisers. “Silence the neighbours. Lynch the lockouts… and inside this chaos we will find our calm.”

The ‘Wonderland Scarehouse Project’ follows Alison Wonderland’s ‘Wonderland Warehouse Project’, which has toured Australia twice since it first launched in 2014.
“The ‘Wonderland Warehouse Project’ was one of my most favourite things to play and curate, it was basically a look into my mind. This will be the next step,” she says.
“As someone who is a music lover for me shows are a way to escape the real world and I want everyone who comes to leave with the same experience. This is the third time we have worked on the warehouse project idea and it’s going to be bigger and better every time. I want this to be crazier than all the ones which came before.”
Alison Wonderland is also set to perform at Spilt Milk festival and Maroochy Music & Arts Festival later this year.
Her still-untitled new album will be the follow-up to her 2015 debut album Run, and she’s already teased a bunch of huge collaborators for the record.
