Arctic Monkeys 2014 Australian Tour Dates Announced

Sheffield’s indie rock darlings, Arctic Monkeys, have finally locked in those long-rumoured Aussie tour dates that we’ve been waiting so patiently for, with the boys officially announcing headlining shows in five cities next May.

The Alex Turner-led 4-piece have established themselves at the top of their game with the release of their fifth full-length studio album, AM. The gloriously slinky effort has won over old fans and new and will see them back in Oz from Tuesday, 6th May in Sydney, before hitting Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

To catch the quartet in the flesh, you’ll want to get all up in the Frontier presale, which kicks off from Tuesday, 3rd December. General public sales will follow from 9:00am AEDT on Wednesday, 11th December. Get on it!

UPDATE 04/02/14: Perth’s very own psychedelic sweethearts Pond have been announced as the support for Arctic Monkey’s Australian tour, with the gents behind last year’s stunning Hobo Rocket today disclosing that they’ll be joining the English outfit on all stops of the tour. The Nick Allbrook-led trio will be the only support act, with UK act Royal Blood not appearing, as originally printed on Melbourne and Brisbane tickets.
