Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong’s 16 year old son Joey Armstrong as just finished up recording a debut record with his band Emily’s Army. Joey plays drums in the band, which also consists of brothers Max & Cole Becker (bass & Vocal/guitars) and Travis Neumann (guitar).

The LP titled “Don’t Be A Dick” was recorded in four days with Billie Joe sitting behind the desk to help the boys record it. Of the album, Billie Joe described it as “ a lot of youthful punk rock attitude. They’re raw. It’s well played, has great hooks and is catchy as hell.”

The band have been banging out some pop punk tunes for a few years and their debut record is set for release on Adeline Records. (which released the first few Green Day records)
