Chainsmokers’ Sydney Gig Shut Down After Fans Got Too Turnt, Bumrushed Stage

The Chainsmokers‘ Sydney show lasted less than the time it takes to microwave a bowl of Continental mac & cheese.

The American DJ duo’s free gig at the Jam Factory last night was – much like Sydney’s nightlife – shut down, because people were having too much fun.

Shit got savage when mega turnt fans apparently bumrushed the stage two songs into the set in an attempt to dance with – and hug – the band, causing a whirlwind of destruction in their wake:

“Literally everything is broken up here; completely dead,” the duo said as fans continued to storm the stage.

And while the gig got ass-canned because of the good time fun-riot, the action continued down the road at World Bar, where the lads apparently finished the show without incident.
