Sub Headline: ‘Crazy Woman Says Insane Shit No One In Their Right Mind Would Believe’
Hole singer Courtney Love has once again taken aim at Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl: this time accusing Grohl of sexually harassing Courtney and Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain.
However, Gawker made Love’s tweets public via a screen capture they posted last night.
Via her tweets, Love reveals her source as being ‘a driver’ that allegedly witnessed Grohl’s “hands all over her (Frances)” and further states that Frances’ roommate has witnessed flirting between Dave and Frances. Love also goes on to suggest Grohl is sexually obsessed with Kurt and has an inferiority complex towards the Nirvana singer, thus enlisting Cobain look-alike Taylor Hawkins to be his submissive drummer. Not quite done, Love also states that Grohl’s daughter Violet is named after the Hole song of the same name, and that Love intends to shoot Grohl dead.
Since the initial report, Gawker has also posted a statement from Grohl’s publicist Steve Martin…
Well, what I want and what I think are realistic options are very different things.
What I want would be to have the headline changed to, say, “Crazy Woman Says Insane Shit No One In Their Right Mind Would Believe,” and I would want to lose that photo too.
but back here in the real world, all i can say is Rolling Stone, for example, gave us the first sentence and a sub-head:
Courtney Love Accuses Dave Grohl of Hitting on Frances Bean Cobain ‘These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue,’ says Grohl
Grohl did release a statement in response that stated: “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
Of course this is far from the first time Love has torn into Grohl. Last year Music Feeds reported on Love’s rant backstage after performing at the SWU Festival in Brazil.
