The Creases Announce 2017 National Tour For Debut Album ‘Tremolow’

Brisbane indie crew The Creases have announced their biggest headline tour to date, in support of their upcoming debut album Tremolow.

After the record drops on 4th August, the band will be hitting the road for shows in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in September, supported by Brissie singer-songwriter Hatchie.

To coincide with today’s tour announcement, The Creases have also released a slightly NSFW music video for their track ‘Is It Love’ (below), which saw them collaborate with director Dylan Duclos.

“We were getting video treatments that were very lovey dovey kinda stories and we were pretty keen on steering clear of that and doing something a bit weird and different to the general theme of the song,” says the band’s Joe Agius.

“Dylan came back to us with the concept of us accidentally playing in an underground BDSM club called ‘The Choke’ that we’d mistake for ‘The Tote’ in Melbourne and we thought it was perfect.

“We joked about having a gimp trumpet player and Dylan coerced his housemate into doing it which was definitely our favourite part of the day and clip.”
