Grab your Bintang singlet and boogie board because the most Aussie thing ever ~not~ to happen in Australia is about to happen in Bali.
Yep. The Red Hot Summer Tour is going international, expanding its reach to the Indonesian island with a bloody bonza lineup topped by Daryl “that’s the way it’s gonna be little darlin” Braithwaite and national hero Shannon Noll.
Rounding out the all-Aussie bill for the Bali bash are Ross ‘Daddy Cool’ Wilson, 1927, Pseudo Echo and Jason Singh.
Tour promoter Duane McDonald says he’s bloody stoked on the whole thing.
“It has been on the cards to take the Red Hot Summer Tour international for some time now, and the time was right to add Bali as part of the line-up for 2018,” McDonald explains.
“Part of our commitment with the tour is taking music to areas that are not usually part of the general touring circuits, so music fans in regional areas – and now international hotspots – don’t miss out on seeing top-notch live music. We’ve already had feedback that music fans are going to travel over for the event. The Bali Red Hot Summer Tour is going to go off!”
It’s set to go down on Sunday, 22nd April 2018 at Finns Recreation Club in North Kuta.
Meanwhile, back here on home turf, you can catch the Red Hot Summer Tour fanging ’round Australia in January with a lineup featuring Suzi Quatro, The Angels, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets and more, then again in February with John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite, Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows and 1927.
That’s the way it’s gonna be, little darlin’.
