Enter Shikari Announce 2015 Australian Tour

English progressive hardcore outfit Enter Shikari have announced they will be making their way back to Australia for a strong of tour dates in May 2015 backed by their forthcoming full length The Mindsweep.

The four piece will kick things off at Fremantle’s Metropolis on Monday, 18th May, before making their way through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Joining the tour will be Canberra’s Hands Like Houses.

Enter Shikari were last in Australia in 2012, first for Soundwave and then to tour their A Flash Flood Of Colour album. This time round they’ll be touting tunes from their soon-to-be-released record The Mindsweep, which Music Feeds reviewer Brenton Harris described as “arguably Enter Shikari’s most progressive record” yet. You can stream the album here.

“We pushed ourselves vocally with some of the rawest angriest vocals we’ve ever done as well as some of the most dulcet and delicate,” said vocalist Rou Reynolds of the album in a statement. “It’s even more diverse than normal as we’ve built more confidence and fearlessness to widen our influences further.”

“Writing for and recording woodwind, brass and strings was so rewarding and really felt like it brought a new dimension to the music. Just can’t wait to play these songs live now!” The Mindsweep is released in Australia this Friday, 16th January. See Enter Shikari’s Australian tour dates below.
