FOMO Festival is back with its 2018 dates, news of an expansion to Melbourne and a tease at its “biggest lineup ever”.
FOMO will return to Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney in January, and organisers say it’ll be “bigger than ever before”. The event will also hit up Melbourne for the very first time, with a special “night time edition” of the festival dubbed ‘FOMO By Night’.
FOMO’s “one stage, no clashes” policy will still be in operation next year, and we’re being told to brace for a pretty impressive 2018 lineup. Until the big reveal, peep all the FOMO 2018 dates, below.
The 2017 edition of FOMO Festival saw the festival expand to three cities, and featured sets from the likes of Desiigner, Flosstradamus, Empire Of The Sun and Peking Duk.
The event also made headlines when footage emerged of a security guard allegedly choking a festival-goer at the Brisbane leg of this year’s festival. The guard involved in the incident was later stood down by his employer, Asset Protection Systems, and FOMO Festival organisers released a statement saying, “FOMO Festival promoters number one priority is to keep patrons safe and protected at all times and reiterate that we do not condone excessive force or violence at any of our events.”
