British indie-rock outfit Glass Animals are returning to Australia this July, with the four-piece to play a string of dates across the east coast.
July 2016 will see Glass Animals play shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. With the band now in the studio finalising album two, Aussie fans might just be lucky enough to hear brand new Glass Animals tunes when they hit our stages in a few months.
The band are childhood friends, and have become frequent visitors to Down Under over the past couple of years. They were last here in December and January 2014/15 to play Falls Festival and Southbound, as well as a bunch of well-received headliner shows with tracks from their debut album Zaba.
It’s unsurprising then, that they’re back so soon, with their breakthrough 2014 single Gooey going Gold in Australia, and making #12 in triple j’s Hottest 100 in the same year.

UPDATE 10/05/16: Glass Animals have announced another headline show for Melbourne’s 170 Russell after tickets to their previously announced Melbourne show seemed to walk out the door.
