Your dad’s Fathers Day present has come early because Australia’s greatest pub singalong master-blasters — John Farnham and Daryl “that’s the way it’s gonna be little darlin” Braithwaite — are hitting the road together.
The dynamic duo are touring the country in 2018 as part of the Red Hot Summer tour’s second instalment, topping a bill that also features Aussie rock greats Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows and 1927.
The dad-tastic tour will hit six regional Aussie dates in February and March of next year including Jacobs Well (QLD), the Central Coast (NSW), Wodonga, Mornington and Bendigo (VIC) and Launceston (TAS).
“Audiences loved seeing John Farnham as part of the 2017 sold out tour,” says promoter Duane McDonald. “We’ve joined together an incredible Aussie line-up, some artists who have been part of the Red Hot Summer Tour family for a long time and some who we are newly welcomed to the stage.
“It is going to be a massive summer! We are taking the festival into some towns and venues that we have never played at before – look out, it is going to rock!”
Tonight’s announcement comes after Farnsy & Daryl were both announced on the lineup for One Electric Day 2017 which is going down in Werribee this November, and after Red Hot Summer unveiled its first concert series for 2018 featuring Suzi Quatro, The Angels & more.
Tickets to the new instalment go on sale from 12pm this Thursday, 24th August.
