3 weeks since the album hit the market, Kanye West has finally released the first single from Yeezus, Black Skinhead. An U18 friendly version of the track is currently being serviced to radio what’s more we have the first clip for the new single and surprise surprise, it’s weird.
For three and a half minutes you’ll be watching a dark animated performance from the rapper who has ensured certain embellishments made to his torso. Other than the man himself, you’ll notice a few shots of someone, once again dressed in a strange outfit but after months and months of anticipation, that’s really all we get from the first clip off the release.
It seems being mysterious while fuelling your own hype isn’t the best business plan in the modern music world as album sales for Yeezus dropped 80% the week after release according to Fact Mag. This all could have been avoided, however, it seems that releasing a single three weeks after the album drops might be a little too late.
