Kanye West Has Revealed His Seventh Album Title

Kanye West has announced that his forthcoming seventh solo album will be titled So Help Me God and dropped what appears to be the album’s artwork.

West took to Twitter to post “So Help Me God” along with an image followed by another tweet saying “New Album title…” The image appears to be a 13th century monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary, as Stereogum points out.

In a recent interview with US radio station Power 105.1, West said that the follow-up to 2013’s Yeezus is about “80 percent” done, also revealing that it will be dropped in a “surprise” fashion.

The last few weeks have seen the rapper on a huge promotional trail performing songs at the Grammy Awards, SNL40 and the BRIT Awards. He also launched his Adidas collection Yeezy Season 1.

To date we’ve heard four new songs – All Day, Wolves, FourFiveSeconds and Only One. It’s assumed but not confirmed that all four of these songs will appear on the album.
