Kings Of Leon’s Jared Followill Tweets That He’s “Too Drunk” To Finish Band’s New Record

Kings Of Leon have a reputation for enjoying a drink or two – and now, it’s interfering with their work.

As NME reports, bassist Jared Followill did a few tweets overnight, revealing that he’s a big fan of wine and that he was “too drunk” to finish sequencing for the band’s upcoming album in the process.

Wine isn’t for everyone, but it is definitely for me, he wrote.

Just tried for a sequence to the new album. Very exciting stuff. I can’t quite nail it down due to the being too drunk. ?#Tomorrow.

Later on, after realising what he’d tweeted out, he wrote: My “drafts” on twitter should be titled “drunk thoughts you might tweet tomorrow if they’re not too offensive”.

A fan also asked Followill how often he drinks in a week, to which he replied Usually between 7 and 8 days.

Kings Of Leon are currently working on the follow-up to their 2010 album Come Around Sundown – which is expected out in the next few months.

They’ve locked in some headlining performances at a couple of European festivals to promote the album – including the V Festival in the UK, Rock Werchter in Belgium and Bilbao BBK Live in Spain.
