The Lollapalooza 2016 Lineup Is Here To Make You Feel All The FOMO

The lineup for Lollapalooza 2016 has been unveiled and HO. LEE. SHIT. it is the musical equivalent of godzilla on roids.

Take THAT, all other music festivals!

As predicted, the 25th anniversary edition of the Chicago event will be headlined by the power three-way of Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem, with appearances by Lana Del Rey and J. Cole.

But there’s a buttload of surprises as well, in the form of Disclosure, The Last Shadow Puppets, M83, Grimes, HAIM, Future, Vince Staples, Die Antwoord and (naturally) festival masterminds themselves, Janes Addiction.

Heading up the Aussie contingent on the lineup are Flume, Grammy nominees Hiatus Kaiyote, Slumberjack and Jarryd James.

They join even more big name internationals such as Wolf Alice, Foals, Vic Mensa, ASAP Ferg, Wavves, Bloc Party, Silversun Pickups, Ghost, MØ, Modern Baseball, Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding, The 1975, Bastille and loads more.

Seriously, there are just so many freaking insane acts we can’t even name them all.

FOMO, your name is Lollapalooza 2016.

But Aussies lacking the spare couple of grand needed to cover flights, tickets and accommo for the festival without selling a kidney can draw some fleeting solace from the fact that Radiohead and Lana Del Rey are both rumoured hot tickets to appear on this year’s Splendour In The Grass lineup.

LCD Soundsystem and the Chili Peppers, however, have been pretty much ruled out.

But if you can spare the cashish for a trip to the Windy City (or else just want to torture yourself) check out the full Lollapalooza 2016 lineup below.

The event will take place for the first time over four days this year (July 28th – 31st) at Chicago’s Grant Park.
