Milky Chance Falls Festival Sideshows

Chart-topping German duo Milky Chance will play their first ever Australian headline sideshows when they hit Melbourne and Sydney in January 2015 while they’re in the country for three summer festivals, starting with Falls Festival, then Field Day and Southbound.

Milky Chance will head to Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Tuesday, 6th January and then hit the stage at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday, 7th January. The duo made serious waves over the past year both at home and in Australia, with their single Stolen Dance soaring up to the top of the charts.

Their debut album Sadnecessary came out in the band’s native Europe in October 2013 but only made its way to Australian airwaves earlier this year. Singer Clemens Rehbein told Music Feeds this year that although the album only took a month to create, taking it around the world proved a lengthier process.

“It just shows you it takes a lot of time and a lot of work to bring the album to the people… Now we realise how much work it is to bring that album over to Australia or to the US. We can’t make it all at the same time. You don’t realise how big the world is.”

Fans will be able to see those tracks brought to life when the duo make their way to Australia later this year. See Milky Chance’s sideshow dates and information below, and find all the Falls Festival and Southbound sideshows here, as they’re released.
